The interesting thing about trusts is that they go back for thousands of years.
First recognized during the crusades, trusts provided instructions to survivors in case the trust creator didn’t make it back home.
Of course, there have been hundreds of variations to the trust formula, but ultimately a trust is simply a bucket that holds possessions for the trustor.
Trusts do not have to be filed with the state government like the wills do, and they do not have to go through probate to be legally effective.
Sounds like a “free for all”, doesn’t it.
Well, not quite, but they are a step above wills and certainly worth your time to explore and learn the details.
We can help with that journey.
